This is terrible. I own every single PS version of his games, and DiRT as well. What a shame to lose a rally master like him.

an absolute tragedy to the sport of racing in general, he made WRC the way it is now, and his games were all awesome

Collin McRae is one of the greatest rally drivers known to this world. he will be forever missed and leaves not only a huge hole in our Subaru community, but also in his family. i was shocked to read the news yesterday, and feel for his wife and daughter that he left behind. it's a true tragedy.

yes, that's exactly what i mean. she lost both her husband and her son. how horrible!and this is a guy who can flip his car over and still win second place!!! he is amazing!here's a clip from X Games. Subaru wins 1-2-3, McRae's awesome roll over in the final turn and still gets silver! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ci_p6ulyTRg

he was a great racer and an icon in the sport, this a lost as great as Dale Sr.s death at Daytona back in '01. Colin will be missed by all.

this has been the big talk of the subie and rally community for the weekend. anyone following motorsports is pretty much shocked. NASIOC is going black and white in remembrance of him and what he's done for the sport and the Subaru community.

he will never be forgotten. One of the best in the rally word today. His death is a loss to his family in blood and to his family in the sport he loved. RIP.

I herd of Colins passing while on my trip this weekend, i was with various NJic members out to dinner, so nobody knew, well my friend that i had been waiting for all day to show up at a meet called me, and told me the news.I had to break it to all of my new friends at dinner, i guess i could have waited, but, i was about to cry..... it really changed the tone of the evening as i asked for a moment of silence for a fallen hero of ours... A sad sad day for sure.... my heart goes out to his wife and daughter...
