I recently beat my friends Impala, not from a stop but from the 30-60 mile an hour range and he's really ticked o about it! Especially since my wife and two kids were in the car!

LOLin my slightly modded VGT, i could beat up on honda's all day, modded hondas. i could keep up (from a roll) with a WRX (stock- not beat it, just keep up with it), i would kill my parents 04 V6 Impala without even trying. when i traded TRDvibe in for the Leggy, the tech, Jerry, took it out for a spin. he was pretty impressed with how much fun and zippy that little car was, no turbo, etc. and this is a guy who mods cars for a living!Granted, both Mav and I now have turbo'd Subies, however, i will say that i loved (and do miss) my old 03 Vibe GT. it wasn't "slow" by all means, however it wasn't "fast" either. for what it was and the type of vehicle, it was pretty impressive imo. and just like now, because i have 4 door family style sedan with an auto, people give me crap for modding it. then i take them for a ride and they shut up. it can be faster, but anything can be faster! and had the VGT been awd with a 6MT, i would have kept it and just made it my project. so, don't let anyone give you crap about your car, that it's "just a vibe" because it's your car and your vibe. if they think it's stupid, well I'm sure there's plenty of things they do that you think is stupid too.

yeah, but the gt only runs a mid to high 15, with a good driver. that is my point. the newer v6 stangs are not pathetic like the previous years.don't get me wrong, the mustang is so cliche, i could care less how fast any stang is.
