http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,296 ... lApprently the new film they are making is going to put the name to mean some kind of global task force fighting evil instead of the great 80's characters that beat the heck outta Cobra. If this is true and they make it some nancy pansy international appeal to everyone film, then I'm def. not seeing it ever. How can you take people like Duke, Lady Jane, etc. and make them some kind of international task force. GI Joe is American, and making this move is just plain stupid.

well, if it's nothing like the original show, It will suck.That's why I'm almost disappointed in Transformers, but I like the transformers so much that something's better than nothing.

Who is G.I.J.O.E. going to combat, if the Hollywood producers are so worried about offending people? You certainly couldn't fight Muslim terrorists, that would be offensive to Islam. Maybe they could combat corporate executives. We all know that greedy capitalists are evil. Or how about people that drive SUV's and contribute to global warming. They must be evil. What kind of weapons will they fight with? Guns are evil, right? Maybe they can wear those pretty blue helmets of the UN and pass out candy bars. No, candy bars make our children overweight. Celery! That will work. Nobody is offended by celery, right?
