My car got KO'd tonight. LOL. I went to Toyota, the dealer here is open till 12 midnight on weeknights and till 5pm on Saturdays! Great hours if you need em. After about two hours of looking, waiting, and testing. They at first thought it could have been a seized pulley. nope. Then they thought there may have been something stuck in the tranny where the torque converter is cause there is a space there and sometimes very rarely things can get caught in there. nope. Finally, he thinks its coming from the lower part of the block. Possibly a bearing, great. So they need to tear into the engine to find the issue. I pulled out the spacer and put the TB back together, engine is bone stock anyways. Thankfully my car is Certified so its all covered under the powertrain. He is going to call Toyota in the morning to get approval to tear it down so no cost to me, and at that point it is no cost at all to fix for me. THANK GOD!! They didn't have any loaners to give me tonight So I will be taking the train to work in the morning, the guy that worked on the car tonight is gonna be in at 4pm tomorrow so he will be the only guy working on it. I will get a loaner tomorrow when I bring the car from my house back to the dealer (I live down the street). So all in all it sucks that the car is out of commission, but I get a loaner and the repairs are covered under the CPO warranty. I'll keep y'all updated as I don't think this was due to the Helix, but more so a fluke coincidence as the minute I turned the car on after install it made the noise. So I think they are isolated.
Well its better to get it checked out now and find out whats wrong then keep driving it and make it worse. I was reading your other thread about your car and it sure didn't sound like it was running right. What codes did you have for your CEL?

dang so you cant blame the helix that sucks sooo bad. Its crazy how much we rely and take cars for granted :/ Hopefully they find the thing wrong and fix it!! let us know how it goes
The CEL that was thrown was just to do with the MAF sensor cause of the idle. He was looking at the issue with it running on the lift. As he brought it down I was tellin him how it smoked up, then out of nowhere, the engine bogged to almost stall, then kicked up again to normal with a kick and shimmy, then white smoke literally poured out the back.I'm totally convinced a Helix did not cause this, that is way to fluke. But oh well, I keep testing fate in my head wondering if it's not sold by the time I get my car back if I should bother trying it again or just let be what is.
