So, I've had my VGT for about 4 months now. When I bought it, there were some very deep scratches in the hood, looks like it was previously keyed... the scratches are very deep, so I'm trying to weigh my options here...1. Get the entire hood repainted. (Vibe is Abyss... Have it professionally done or do it myself?)2. CF Hood3. This Ram-Air Hood on Ebay... Here's the linkNow, I'm limited on funds right now, so this is just gonna be for future reference for me... Also, is it difficult to color match the Abyss? I went to school for Collision Repair, so I know how to paint, but I don't really have the time or facilities to pull my hood on my only vehicle and paint it myself. Plus, I'm afraid of it being difficult to match the Abyss paint with the flake in it and all. Not to mention its been about 2 years since I've used a paint gun...
I personally wouldn't do an aftermarket hood unless you have some other mods planned. I think a c/f or ram air hood might look out of place on an otherwise stock looking Vibe.

well I have plenty of things that are planned, its just a matter of when its gonna happen. Can only take one step at a time... I don't wanna go all out with show, want it to be somewhat of a sleeper. Thats why I figure with a stock looking CF hood, or the Ram-Air color-matched to the Abyss, it wouldn't stand out too much.
