Keyless Entry

I just sold my Vibe and he picks it up on Friday. My car came with keyless entry but I've since added an alarm which does the same thing. Their other vehicle is a 2005 Matrix that does not have keyless entry. Would it be possible to use the 2 key fobs that came with my Vibe to open his Matrix? What sort of programming is involved?

yea, you'd have to go to a dealership and they can program it that way perhaps...not sure if it'll work because the one is a toyota and other is gm..so you may have to go to both dealerships to see what they can do but im sure it can be done

Does the matrix has power door? If not you will have to install a power door kit that comes with keyless capabilities, I think, because my vibe is base without the power group and I'll have to install this kit soon (when I'll receive it)If I'm wrong, please correct me somebody!

It has power locks. Currently to unlock all the doors he has to put the key in and turn it twice I think.

You can use Vibe fobs with a Matrix and vice versa. Search this site, there are posted instructions on programming a new fob to work with the car.
