i just bought a cooler from intec i believe it is..it fits on the bottom of the 360..like standing up..it's got about a cm or 2 of space between the fans and the actual system..it works pretty damn well and has it's own ac adapter so it wont affect the power at all for the 360..got it for $28 cdn

here's a pic of the stand with the xbox..it works quite well..played about 5 hours straight and never had a problem..even the air that comes out of the back of the 360 is cooler too..still warm..but not as warm as it was before i got this..on with the pics

yea..horizontal ones are hard to find..if they even make them..since theirs not much holes on the bottom/top of the system to get air into the system..but if you find this one, it's definitly worth getting..also holds 4 memory cards..i think im gonna change the led's though..not a fan of the green..maybe go blue or red

with the xbox, the main "stock" cooling issue is those back two fans dont push much air at all out! I cant believe how how it is back there, I have my 5 case fans here at home, so I will most likely whip it up tomorrow with some trips to the hardware store...ohhhh its going to be sweet.nice looking stand wave or should i say redfire.......

K these are crap-tastic pics (my hand was shaking.... yeah idk) but I fabbed the brackets and base today, just need more nuts for the screws, then I need a ac adapter to power the fans. These fans are "silent" and light up blue with leds...

dont get GH 80's unless you love 80's music...it wasnt much fun cuz i didnt know more than 2 songs. 3rd one will be cool cuz they will allow downloadable tracks! A top case maybe...I dont go for pretty on this just functional, its a MS product...i wouldnt want it to look pretty

BIOSHOCK FTW!!!!!!!!!I had to pick it up after goin along with the hype of it not bein all that great.the game is very well detailed and the things you can do are crazy. i admit i was hesitant on it and doubted i would buy it.. but after the demo i was hooked on the type of gameplay it was.The video i watched before release did the game no justice.so anyone who likes doom type games this is right up your alley.

I just got done playing the PC demo of BioShock, it was sweet and really freaky too. It looks beautiful on my PC( I had everything turned up to the highest settings, i love my pc ) but im not really into these type of games, I'm waiting for CRYSIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just got a reallly nice and $$$ laptop... XPS.But havent gotten any new games to test it out... i have Unreal Tournament but its like 10 Yrs old. haha.I love FPS and some role playing games.I just got BIOSHOCK so havent really gotten into it yet, but love the way its set up.

I love FPS's, Im addicted to BF2 and BF2142. XPS is a dell right or is that the brand? My computer is completely custom built. Bioshock seems to have a very very interesting story, I really like it and I love the environments. The texturing and lighting in the game are very topnotch, even the animation is great.

you are correct xps is dells version of a "gaming" machine. FPS's are sweet, I played the x360 bioshock demo and got scared a few times ill admit hahha Since its not multiplayer I wont buy it but Id rent it for a week to beat it at least once.

I got a PS3.........can someone explain to me why Sony has fallen off the face of the gaming earth? ..................I can..........the PS3's been out.....almost 10 months, and the games available SUCK! Still no GT5 (or whatever they are going to call it) all the other racing games for it either suck, or are rehashs that you can get on any console.... Sorry Sony........you build a great laptop.....and the PS3 is nice....but I think your leadership in the gaming world is over.(#1) Xbox360 (#2) Wii (#3) PS2 (#4) PS3.At least that's how I see it!

they may pick it up when GT5 comes out..and maybe the socom series..and whatever other main sony franchises were with it..i played the demo to the F1 game..and i usually love F1 games and it's so rare now to see one..but i didnt enjoy it at all..graphics were great..but nothing spectacular

I have a xbox...and seriously i hate the thing, if it wasnt for my best friend that bought his and then I got mine ONLY to play coop with him i would not of touched this hardware failing pile of junk. the handful of games I do own are either out for ps3 or are only for xbox and well the ones only for xbox get boring real quick aka gears of war. so dont worry your arent missing much. the wii, (removed) the biggest waste of 250 I have spent, there are NOOOOOO games. OK I beat zelda and excite truck what now? yeah......nothing.. online? huh? whats that nothign. wii is just hype, no lie. wii sports wears off REAL quick. I have had over 15 games for the wii..and they are amusing but nothing really worth buying besides the few from launch. xbox 360 has the 1yr advantage and that is the only reason you see "better" games for it period. people need to hold horses and just settle until the ps3 and wii mature. myself I cant wait to get my ps3 for 2008 its going to be freaking awesome, killzone 3, socom 4 . Oh btw gt4 prolouge (the demo) comes this oct? i think.

I just traded in my Xbox360 Premium for an Elite... now I actually have space to store demos and videos and stuff!Will be really nice when I get my HDTV later this year since I can hook it up with HDMI... and that fact that it is black is pretty sweet too.Can't wait for Guitar Hero 3 and Army of Two looks pretty cool!

The PS2 had at least that many on LAUNCH DAY; and here almost a year later, we're STILL waiting on games that were promised out very soon after launch.... I've had Playstation since the 1st one. I still have a PSone with the attached screen, an old think PS2 and a thin PS2, so it's not like I don't like Sony.........I just hate to see them going down the gaming tubes, so to speak....

I honestly Im a total SONY fan....BUT 360 does and will have some good games coming out that I wouldnt mind playing( Mass Effect, HAlo3, ...well i guess mainly those two) Im going to hold out to buy a PS3 though, only...and yes this is the only reason, atleast at the moment, im only buying it so I can play MGS4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im mostly a PC guy now, im my opinion in PC games you have more control and the graphics are STILL much better than anything out right now, granted you do have to spend a pretty penny( i did) to get those graphics and performance. I guess im not really impressed with either the 360 or PS3 graphics because my PC has been capable for awhile.

IMO...xbox has better games out..but then again they've been out for about a year now more then the ps3..but xbox is coming out with alot of great games..ps3..not so much...im also a pc gamer at times..i gotta upgrade my pc though..it's abit older and the graphics card is a lil old too..i'd like to get a new car and upgrade the sound card..just overall a faster pc

I'm going to throw this out there, but I have always been a Xbox promotor even though I have always had a PS, and now that I have the PS3 and 360, I was always still very strong towards the MS, but since I recently got a large HDTV, the PS3 is looking 20x better for some reason. Of course with the PS3 I have it hooked up via HDMI, and with the 360 I have no choice but to go with component. With the PS3 I am getting 1080p, whereas with the 360 I can only get 720p. I also noticed with Blue Ray DVD's that some look better than others. However, with the 360 I noticed that games look better on other HDTVs than mine, so I'm not really sure if it is settings or what, but regardless there are 100x more games that I want to play on the 360 than the PS3. PS3 has a lot of catching up to do in regards to games.

OK OK so no one is hating hahha, but yeah ps3 it seems was released 1 yr to early. the wii could be said the same though..cuz I am bored of it...although metroid is out soon or now.... Halo wars demo is out this week AND COD4 beta is giving the registration at 12pm PST!!!! get on the list yo'z

the 12pst registration was just sql errors up the ying yang, so once the site is back up they are suppose to release a 24 hour registration that allows equal opporutnity to get into the beta.
