Do you think your mom's bf would consider adopting me?

I have an idea for the next Michigan meet.... Let's see if we can get Pauls moms BF to have it at the wearhouse...!!!!!I mean roap off the cars, so any blumbering slobs don't drool on them (me included here, lol) And have a line at each one so one at a time we could get up close and personal with each car... Ahhhh, what a dream that would be.... I've seen all those cars in the mags and on TV, but to get to see them in person (i've seen a few) would be incredible.... Ok, my "green with envy" moment is over, continue on with your respective lives people....
(removed). That would be fun I agree. I haven't even been to the warehouse yet but he has over 90 cars now.Pretty much every modern exotic except the Ferrari F50(my all time favorite Ferrari...dont know why he doesn't have one yet) and the SLR Mercedes. Still a waiting list for the SLRS7, Cerrera GT, Ford GT, Enzo, Veyron, Ferrari 599, 360, two 430s, 355, F40, Scaglietti, Murcielago, Gallardo, like 20 corvettes including a few Callahans, lingenfelters and custom built models. Pantara, Yenko Nova, Chevelle, Vipers, '69 Camaro, other muscle cars. Few Bentleys including two Continental GTs. Rols Royce Phantom, Escalade. Porsches: GT3, GT2, 959 with a HUGGGEEE aftermarket twin turbo kit. I can't think of what else now lol.My mom and I re-introduced him to muscle cars so he bought a few. Like I said, he races all his cars and pretty much all of them have after market parts, like the Ferrari's have exhaust, obviously the Maseratis do. He had a larger supercharger installed on the Ford GT and on a couple of his other Saleens. I asked him about Japanese imports because he doesn't have a single one in is garage. He said he doesn't like how the NSX handles or rides. The only one he really liked was the Supra.
90 freaking cars in a warehouse!?!What does he do for a living!? Well not that our cars really compare to any of those, but you still have a pretty sweet ride yourself. I'm curious, how much was your hood?
Thank you sir This is actually my second hood. The first one got destroyed by the sun so I had the company replace it. It was about $500.He founded Metropolitan Title insurance with $5000 when he was about 25. He jsut sold it a couple years ago for a ridiculous amount of money on top of the profit from the 30 years he ran it....and all the investments he's made.
You are very welcome sir. Keveras, Savedbyzero, aflan, and yourself have my fav. vibes on this site and really want to start getting my car to the point where you guys have yours built to. You know, s/c, cai, header, rims, etc. and so i really like your hood and im thinking about getting one. where you get it from?
AJ is just a poser don't compliment him Just kidding lol. I love his. It's just like mine but opposite color scheme Means a lot to me as well. My car is a reflection of my own personality and style. Like it's a part of me.JSP America makes the hoods. They still make them too. I lost their phone number but it is for sure floating around on these forums. Just do a search for JSP America or carbon fiber hood and you'll find it somewhere. Or you could send Damron or Lancer an im and they might have the phone number still as we all have the same hoods.
OK cool, thanks. What do you guys think of the Holden/new Pontiac G8( I was confused from your pic b/c I thought it was the G8, I was like HEY thats not out yet!).It looks just like a Acura TL to me, but a little bigger.
well, i can see the lines of a TL from the back. not that its a bad thing ; i really like the TL...... and Holden makes some of the best looking cars IMO, so i already love the G8and thats before i start talking about the v8 and the six speed and the interior (to name a few)
Yeah I love it. Very nice if they keep it how the concept looks...the American car companies are notorious for taking a beautiful looking concept and "family-zing" it into an ugly not so good looking production car. The new Mustang is a perfect example....granted if you invest a ton of money into the new Mustangs you can get them to look beautiful again but nothing compared to how the concept looked.Around here you see a lot of cars on the road that aren't out yet. I saw one of the new Challengers the other day on the way home from work. Let me tell you, that gave me shivers...that's one of my new dream cars.
Being that I sold Acura's I don't think it looks like a TL at all. I would def. think if and when GM comes out with the G8 and they put the right equipment in it and price it right, it will def. steal some shine from Honda's premium brand. Good call, nice car, can't wait.Once again I say it. GM has done what Ford has and still does continue to fail to do. Bring European models over as is for the most part for the US market.

I mean we would all have to agree to be on our utmost best behavior and look at each car WITHOUT touching them unless allowed of course. (gloves could be provided.. )He could be the center of attention and be able to speak about each car and describe the pluses and minuses of each as we went as a group to each car.... Some microfiber cloths and some quick detailer would have to be on hand though, i don't know if i would be able to stop drooling... Just a thought man, i know I'm kinda pushing on this, but, i just feel it would be an incredible opportunity for us (GenVibe) to have something really special happen, seeing how we are all "car guys/girls" to the extent that these cars REALLY make us hot/wet.... lol.... At any moment you feel I'm pushing to much (heck, i don't know you personally, beside meeting at the Mi meet) please, just IM me a STOP, and i won't say another word... promise
Just got back from vacation and the Dream Cruise is a great motivator for the projects at home. I have seen similar cars to that of the pictures and they are even better in person. I went to NASCAR race as well (Tues) and the parking lots were full of mud. Some guy in a 07 Impala was poking at the VIBE and ten minutes later he got stuck in the mud. I put it in second and slowly crept out of the lot.
If God didn’t want us to eat meat, why did he make the cow so slow? (Ever eaten a cheetah-burger? Nope. And you never will.)
(removed) awesome. A hardcore car fan comes from out of country to the Dream Cruise. That makes me happy The more people that enjoy it, the better. He actually was at the Italian Pebble Beach show in California unveiling the new Calloway with Calloway himself. Him and Calloway designed and built the new Vette. It's a seedster Corvette with no roof and a slightely raised windshield. The car will be on the cover of Motor Trend soon maybe in the next month or two including a write up from him and Calloway I believe. Should be sending me some information on it as well real soon so I will inform everyone here when I get it I think all the attention at Pebble Beach would be enjoyable as well
