Well, I just made the big purchase and now I'm trying to plan out how to ask. I think I might never make it to asking in a romantic way since I can never keep a secret.
my wife, just married a week ago, we went on a trip and I made arrangements for her to board first. After she was seated I wen to the bathroom, I had 12 guys come back with roses and they all asked her to marry them. She said no to each one then I came out of the bathroom on the plane with a single red rose and the ring, I think we were somewhere over texas at the time, but she will never forget it. Obviously, since she just married me this past saturday.
I used to take the GO Train from Brampton to Toronto....so, I wrote my proposal on my Pocket PC and showed it to my girlfriend at the time (now my wife). Nobody on the train knew what was going on. That way, if she said no, I wouldn't be too embarrassed.

I was thinking abou this all weekend. I'm considering a nice meal downtown Cincy and then maybe a carriage ride down by the river. I really don't want to be around a large group of people even though I'm pretty positive she'll say yes.
Thanks for all the advice guys. I asked her this weekend and she said YES. We have already set a date of May 22nd next year for the wedding. Now I have 12 months of pulling my hair out and saving every penny.

does " my big fat greek wedding" ring a bell? good luck. My wife and I have been married less the a month but I remember the day well. WE got close to $5000 in cash from inviting 126 ppl. Yet we spent $11000 dollars so you do the math.
the mayan riviera is excellent in april or may. It's 100 miles south of Cancun and less touristy. I had a great time. we even went underground cave diving! here's my favorite wedding picture though
So, since we gave you all this advice, does this mean that we are invited? I mean, you Wedding album will have a whole string of Vibe's and Matrix' in the reception hall parking lot.....Call it a wedding reception/GenVibe meet.HAHAHAHAHAHA

I would love to invite everyone and I'm registering at TRD LOL Actually, we are already looking at reception halls, have a church, and the date of May 15th, 2004. We have a lot of planning to do, but it's been very exciting so far.
