I just came back from watching the X2 movie, and prior to the movie starting, I noticed some very prominent ads for the Matrix. In fact I've seen the ad in movies for several months now.And interestingly enough, there are alot of Matrixes on the road here and not many Vibes. As for the Vibe, I don't think I've seen an ad specifically featuring the Vibe since last year with that fuzz tone music. Is GM expecting the car to sell itself after only one round of ads last year? The advertising strategy almost reminds me of Apple Computers. A brief blip of exposure, then nothing. Anyone remember the Apple IIGS? Launched and advertised in 1986, then nothing.

Yepmaybe that's why IBM based computers are the top sellers still....... I noticed the same... Very few Vibes around. So how did you like X Men 2....... I just saw it today as well... at 1:30 pm in Richmond....... Very cool nice to see them devolping some of the new characters.
I've never seen a Vibe ad here in the Mid West either.I like that I've got a car I don't see at every stop light but I don't want it to become an orphan either.
speak of the devil, i saw a commercial this morning. it was for a yogurt type drink, i forget the name. anyways, they were using a vibe in it. if i didnt have one, i wouldnt have noticed, its real brief and flashy. but id figure id throw that in.

Quite a few plot holes but nothing I guess I shouldn't have been able to forgive. After all I suppose I had to check out my sense of reality walking into the movie. Still, injecting enough iron to form several large ball bearings into someone's bloodstream usually is fatal to begin with.I also heard a funny comment upon leaving the theatre. Someone said that the character "Beast" should have been in the movie. Guess they didn't noticed the TV interview with Dr. Hank McCoy.

I know it's easy to make that mistake as both cars are almost virtually identical, but that also tells me that Pontiac isn't pushing as hard to have it's product easily identifyable.

quote:till this day Herb, that I own my vibe I have never seen any advertisement on TV....including the Fuzz Guitar song!I've only seen one commercial that was specific to the Vibe (and i only saw it once). However, I have seen a few "Fuel For The Soul" commercials that included the Vibe with other Pontiacs.

I liked having a unique car too but now that the Vibe is getting more popular, I'm glad the R/A hood and custom wheels make me stand out again.
quote:The Vibe come first and Aztek come after. The owner of the Vibe (a young man) and owners of the Aztek (a couple) jump off the cliff, skydiving... The driver of the Montana with his wife and kids are watching these scenic jumps. After that, he looks at his wife and she answers: "Don't even think about doing it"...It sounds very cool, I wish they'd show it in the states!PS - Saw the Yoplait Nouriche (sp?) commercial today with the Vibe. I was like YEAH BABY!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
