2003 upgraded stereo...components don't work

I just bought a 2003 moon and tunes and while I thought everything was working okay, I realized on the drive home that the components aren't working. Neither one has any sound coming out of them. Where should I start to diagnose this problem?Thanks!

Components as in front? But you have sound in the rear?Silly question, but have you checked the "fader" to see if it's faded to the rear?

I mean the tweeters aren't putting out any sound. I'm getting sound from the bottom door speakers all the way around, but not the tweeter at the top. I'm wondering if there isn't a loose wire somewhere...but knowing nothing about the system other than the amp is under the passenger seat, I don't know where to start.

Okay, bought a new(ish) factory amp...i bumped a thread that discusses amp wiring differences because that's my new issue.
