Note to self

Post by aerineth »

I bought this as a practical family vehicle, not to race people who annoy me on the beltway on weekends.Really.I love my Vibe :D I can zip around like a maniac like I did in the tiny coupe I used to drive, AND people can fit in it! I'm really trying to be good, the dealer said to try not to go over 55 if I can help it for the first 500 mile "break in" period.. but... well. I hate jerks in SUV's who think they own the road, so I decided he needed to stare at my bumper for a good long while. I mean, it was his privilege really, spending the morning staring at my beautiful new Vibe

The SUV'ers are just jealous that you're getting twice the mileage they are. I love it when they feel the need to floor it and whip out around you just so they can be ahead of you... During the few seconds of those stupid stunts, they probably suck down as much gas as we'd use in a few miles. LOL!Keep driving slow, it's good for your wallet and the planet. That's my motto at least.

is it twice the mileage, or three or four times more???? Glad to hear you're having fun in your practical, gas-sipping, beautiful Vibe!

I've made more than a few SUV or truck driving friends jealous with the combination of what I can haul in the back and where I can park.
