After talking to my neighbors for an hour and 40 minutes. Seriously, this thing was ridiculously easy to install. Didn't have to put the car up on jack stands. All I used was my 19mm socket, 3/4" ratchet, a breaker bar, and a torque wrench with the same breaker bar to tighten the bolts. Car handles soooo much better. I can't believe I'm turning into a ricer.
awesome man..shoulda got some pics of the install..hopefully i'll be getting hotchkiss swaybars and install them at work(free use of tools and hoists) which makes it alot easier
LOL. i don't think adding a sway bar makes you a ricer. now adding unpainted body parts, body kits or otherwise, then you may be considered a ricer, and/or revving your engine to race every car you pull up next to on the street. until then, i think doing suspension mods are the more intelligent mod route to go.
you have to get an alignment done after spring install so...unless you are waiting a long time to get springs, just hold off on the alignment until after you install the springs. The rear sway bar I hear helps a ton! I want one soo bad, but I sorta want the front one too.... decisions decisions. you have any pics? 20 min for an install? I look easy to install too, just goes across the back axle thing.
it takes longer to jack up the car then crawl under and install. I jacked my car up because it was lowered and I couldn't really fit under. What a difference though it made. A good install and not a ricer one IMO.

I'd never install the coffee can. I can't stand the sound. I knew I'd have to get an alignment after installing springs, so that's why I'm going to wait until I need alignment........do the springs first and then get her aligned. Unfortunately I don't have pics. I can only see needing to jack the car up if you're lowered ike Mavrik and/or your top bolt is rusting and spins when you try and loosen the lower bolt. My car is only a year and a half old, so the bolts came off pretty easy (not counting the elbow grease). I really see no need for the front swaybar unless you plan on autocrossing.
