That's pretty neato!I've used many different GPS setups with my handhelds throughout the years, CF, and bluetooth, this looks like it might be a little cubersome to try to use in the car? Becauase of the width?

Sony annouced the gps for the psp over a year ago but I never saw it. Must finally be out in Asia. There is also a opensource gps project for the psp as well. There was suppose to be a camera as wel... metal gear solid portable ops uses the gps to do things in the game! Let us know how it works!

that is pretty sweet..i prefer to actually get a gps system but none the less looks great..just means one would have to go and buy the $180 system first..then get the gps adapter which could be another $150 or whatever it is

"The GPS Receiver for the PSP launches Thursday in Japan, for the low price of $60, at least according to Play-Asia.com. No word on how much it'll cost you if you buy it direct from the source, although our previous post suggests a ¥5,000 ($43) price point."- psp news source originally from Engadget$60 retail maybe, little cheaper otherwise. All your buying is the gps antenna essentially. The psp will run the software and display the gps data. So its only really cost effective if you already own a psp....like myself...
