Spyshots of the V8 RWD Tibby.Codenamed BK, but often referred to as the "Hyundai Mustang" by Hyundai insiders, the rear-wheel-drive coupe shown here will eventually replace the front-wheel-drive Tiburon. We're not sure if Hyundai will carry over the Tiburon name, but we do know that this car will first arrive in Asia in late 2008 or 2009, and arrive here in the States for the 2010 model year. A convertible version will follow.Based on the BH/Genesis platform, the new coupe is expected to offer an optional 4.6-liter V-8 as a performance option.

What's with the half nekkid dude, in the window in the second pic??? Is it REALLY (removed) on wheels.... I mean i can ubderstand being excited about a car, but that is just .....sick.... My girls brother has a Tibby and I HATE THAT CAR.... It's one ofthe most uncompfortable cars on the road IMHO, no matter how i adjust the seat, my head still rubs the headliner... If i do adjust it so it doesn't i'm laying down.... I can't stand that.... It would be cool though, but if it IS a re-badged Rustang, well, it's still a rustang...
I bet it will to. The more I looked into the 350Z the more dissapointed I got with that car. I see this car selling quite well. Nissan is in some serious trouble with this coming out and the new S2000. The new VQ35HR is a joke.

Hyundai developed its own V8, its going to be in the new Genesis coming out and available as an option in a new full size SUV they are working on. Now if the Azera had a V8 option that would be cool too. I tend to like the Hyundai design, and they have come a long way. Eventually Hyundai and Mazda will be seen as equals in reliability and resale as Honda/Toyota I am sure, just takes some time. Also the VQ engines are nice, but Nissan has been using them for so frigin long. I know you can get more power out of them, but I think it's time for something new to be developed. I mean the new Maxima 3.5 SE has like 280hp I think, while the Altima 3.5 SE Coupe has 270hp. I would take the Altima Coupe over the Z, you get the benefit of a nice rear seat, more storage, good power, and a Honda Accord Coupe slayer. The Accord coupe only has 240 I believe which has not changed since it first came out with the V-6 option I'm pretty sure. I also like the lines of the Altima Coupe better but thats just my opinion. Not to mention it costs less than the Z. The new S2000 is gonna be an awesome car as well, but for now I would love to test drive one of these bad boys. How many other coupes that are going to be in this price range have V-8s. The new Camaro and Mustang but they will most likely be higher priced. P.S. - based on those pics it looks like a mix between a C-class coupe and G35.
those look like knock off infinity rims... but still looks like the old shell off the tibby.

Yeah that thing was insane, I saw that a few years back. Absolutely nuts.If anything Hyundai and Kia share since they are now under the Hyundai ownership. The new Kia Sportage and Hyundai Santa Fe share lots although are different sheetmetal (like Vibe/Trix) along with a few other models.
