RSA's or Continentals

I just noticed some base Vibes /w alloy wheels have different tires. Some has touring Continentals others have Goodyear RSA's.Why the difference? Running year change?

I think they do it just because. I haven't noticed a pattern yet.

I've got conti's and they suck royally. Reasonable rim protetors in the summer but winter? Pathetic.
