About time!! I finally have a TPW

I finally have a TPW (Target Production Week) for our '08 Vibe ordered on 7-9-07. It is scheduled to be built the week of 8-27-07. Does that seem kind of like a long time to anybody else? I mean, 7 weeks?!?!? How long then to ship it across country to Ohio? 2-3 weeks? Wow, I was hoping to have it long before that!Is there something that's going on at the plant that would cause that long of a delay? Anybody know? The order number is MDQCNP if that helps...kinda disappointing

You have allot of cars. Are you sure that you don't need somebody to help you drive some of them? The GTO? One of the Buicks, perhaps??? I have a name that you can trust.

i dont recall that many people here have ordered their vibes special but from the ones that i remember that seems about right. i'm not sure how production goes but the vibe isnt the only thing made on the line, they're in the mix with the matrix and corolla and maybe something else

Soon to be welcome to the site! 7 weeks for an order seems about right to me... Probably seems like 7 years when you are waiting though!

As I recall, it took about 5 weeks for our Vibe to be built after the order was placed and then another week and a half to be delivered to our local dealer. The latter seemed a bit excessive since I can ride my bicycle down to NUMMI in a couple hours, but maybe it took a rather convoluted route.BTW, the NUMMI plant makes Vibes and Corollas on one line and Tacomas on another. Matrices are built in Canada - not at NUMMI.

Many years ago I had a GMC truck built to order and it took 12 weeks.

I remember ordering my Vibe in aug of 03 and it arrived in dec of 03. Of course I didn't have it on the rush order.
