So, I wonder, when the new Vibe comes out will there be a new site for them called 2ndgenvibe.com or newgenvibe.com? Or will there be a new section for them here on GenVibe. I would love to have them join us, but it might make sense for them to have a new site if the cars are completely different. I also wonder how much of the info on this site will be able to help people with the new Vibe? Just wonderin'.

I'd prefer one site.but... if there's a flood of people (doubtfully) and bandwidth becomes an issue then a second site might make sense... but I'd rather there be a new section or something

Being that it's supposedly a total redesign for '09 and some car related forums cater to specific vehicle generations I think BC was just wondering if we would want to stay with our focus on just the 1st gen Vibe or have GVC be the all-inclusive Vibe site.
It will be based on the Toyota Blade. A whole different car. I'm not saying there should be a new site for them, but if the car is completely different, it might be hard for them to find the info they need on here unless there is a new section with many subsections for their Vibes as well.

I thought it was it's own thing now? hahaall the concept pic looks too big to be a Blade... geez as many threads about the 09 as there are you'd think I'd know what was going on by now

Now I'm not saying I doubt you, but I haven't been able to spend as much time here lately as I used to so I probably missed a bunch Is there a reference that explains this Pontiac Vibe = Toyota Blade, or is it conjecture?
the only connection that I know of is a article or something that said GM and Yota would continue the joint effort on the Vibe/Matrix but that's an old article I think...
To me it seems like the 05 - 07 is the second generation and the 09 + will be the third generation. If anything appreance wise ever changes is consider and new generation to me.But there should not be a new site. Genvibe is a site for all vibe owners.
yeah i'm thinkin if anything, there'll be a nextgen section for owners of the new vibe. some of them might be us. so i'd hate to see a whole new site...it would be like splitting up a family. sniff sniff

Lots of sites have sections for 2nd/3rd generations (ex. Rav4world.com). This site has valuable information...not to mention nice folks...that would be beneficial to nextgen owners. And like ramenboy stated, some of us might be nextgen owners as well.

Heck, if we let those Matrix people in, why split up the Vibes? Didn't one of those matrix people sneak into the Pontiac performance magazine????

I got an idea!!! What if we were to create a 2ndGenVibe.com and just reroute it to here like http://LS1GTO.com and http://LS2GTO.com, it's the same site but it just has 2 addresses.
