Many GPS systems installed in vehicles have a 'dead-reckoning' mode for situations where there is no reception from the satellites (say inside a tunnel or parking garage, or just due to tall buildings in urban canyons). well i know this info is sent through the OBDII port as it is given to the ScanGuageII I have so maybe one of those wires is the right on i just would have no clue which one.
