Good day to all, Just saying hi to all fellow vibe owners. I've had my vibe for 3 months, it's such a wonderful versitile vehicle. Abyss base auto with power, moontoon, abs, two tone. Only mods so far are neons (red) which give it an eerie glow to it, under car as well as accents other places. Near future rims, exhaust, as well as other performance. I hope to get pictures soon. Well I guess that's all for now. Dragoneyed a.k.a Daniel Temelkoff

sounds coolwe like pictures I've got a Two-tone Abyss pretty much like yours except without ABS. I wanted ABS, but the dealer couldn't find one.
Car: Two-tone Base Abyss, Moons and tunes, Power packageMods: 20% tint, Reflective Black GrafxWerks Overlays, German Hella Horns, Hardwired Valentine One, red interior dome lights, custom cargo floormat, police scanner, ham radio, cellphone kit and a bunch of antennas on topWishlist: Rubber floormats, million dollars
Welcome! Always good to have another person contributing. I would be interested to hear about how easy it was to install the neon on your Vibe and which company's product you used. Pics would be nice too! Maybe you could put it in the section dealing with Aftermarket Enhancements and exterior mods. By the way, I love your screen name.
Hi Daniel! Welcome to GenVibe. You'll love it here, so many nice people and so knowledgeable about cars! They know everything, right down to what to wash your car with! You'll find yourself checking the forums a few times a day!
My pleasure to help out a fellow vibe owner. Actually it took me and a friend about 5-6 hours to do it, We were working with poorly written instructions. I got them on ebay brand new from a guy who sells for a company called Reactor (reactoraudio.com) they have a one year warrenty. The first part was finding where to put the switch, we ended up taking out one of those little slots to the left of the steering wheel by the coin holder, we carved out a little slot for the switch and put it in there. then we had to get it through the central wire harness, that was a pain in the (removed) because it was the only way of entry to the battery (didn't want to go through door. Then we ran into some problems with the mounting process, the back neon we had to attach way up and under the spare tire storage area, we couldn't drill through the hard metal of the bumber. Then the front one was a pain as well, because we couldn't mount it with the screws to where we wanted it (same metal as bumber), we rigged it with wire which we tied aroung right behind the lower grill. Over all it looks great, the red glows right through the lower grill giving it a weird little grin. The back light luckly can still be seen for being so high up under the car, it still lights an area of ground underneath it. The sides were easy to install right behind that little lip under the car chasis Over all it was fun and educational we think it would only take about 2 hours if we needed to do it again. I am in the process of adding a couple of other lights to my car (being shipped), once I put those on and get my hands on a camera I'll post them in the Exterior Mods section. For now I'll say goodbye. Goodbye.
