Hello gang,I am just curious to see who your provider is and if you are very happy with them. It is now a year that I am with FIDO here in Canada and really like them compared to Telu$Also another question are you on a pre-paid plan or monthly (contract)? What is your story? I apologize if your carrier is not on the list, you can pick "Other" and let us know who they are

Cingular here... well At&t now we don't have the best coverage here in SE Arkansas (people with Alltel get alot better reception) but we are on my wife parents plan monthly plan for now. We might switch when the 2 years (or however long we have left) is up....
Verizon for now... I've been with them for 7 years or so.They have the best coverage in my area and the best prices on plans (especially since my job earns me a discount on my service since we're a corporate customer).
Next-Hell and i hate it... Got it because everyone was direct connecting and now 1yr into the 2yr contract, hardly anyone is DCing and service sucks. we have a saying "Next time with Next-Hell" cause if you get through nexttime your lucky....
We have Sprint, and while the service itself is great (especially the free roaming), their customer service often lacks a lot to be desired. Some of the stores have it together, some don't. We recently merged our plans into a family plan, and the people in the store told us we had to call customer service to do that, and the people at customer service said we had to go into the store. Eventually, we got it done, but it would be nice if the right hand knew what the left hand was doing.
Verizon guy... been with them for 5-6 years now. great coverage, not the greatest customer service and sometimes you get those stupid added charges you have to dispute to get cleared. My contracts up in Nov. then i get to upgrade to the motorola q or the palm treo...

Since I don't use my mobile phone more than a few times a week and then only for a few minutes at a time, I went with a Cingular (AT&T) "Go Phone" plan. The coverage is not that great outside of major metro areas or along the interstates (where it is fine), but they had about the cheapest "pay-as-you-go" type plan I could find. The source of that problem seems to be -- with the pay-as-you-go plan -- the lack of any roaming off of Cingular's GSM network... like to T-Mobile or Cellular One. Though you do seem to be able to temporarily roam onto other GSM networks if you are already in the middle of a call. (I don't think the monthly plans suffer from this limitation.)Verizon/Sprint (both CDMA - which roam off of each other) seem to have superior coverage, but the pay-as-you-go plans were quite pricey when I was doing my shopping.
Verizon for me. Been with them for about 6 years and pretty happy with them overall. Decent coverage for most places I go, but not all. My work gets a small and I do mean small discount with them and that's kind of nice. My phone is a few years old and I plan on getting a new one next month for my "new every two" program. Like Mrizzle said, you have to be careful with them sometimes... they seem to want to nickle and dime you to death. When you change the amt. of minutes on your plan, they make you sign a NEW 2-Year contract with them... kinda sucks unless you are happy with your service. I have an LG phone that I wanted to get because it worked with the Bluetooth headset, but it sucks with the headset and gets an echo every time I use it. I don't have a land-line phone either, so I use my cell phone for ALL communication and that is really nice, unless I go over my minutes, then they start to rack up the charges... just be careful with that and keep track of that stuff. Now that I rambled on... maybe that helped and maybe it didn't.

I agree completely, I've had Sprint for 6-7years and the service is great, but as you said, customer support is so so. I don't even bother calling them anymore, I just head to the mall and the Sprint store if I have an issue.
I have Rogers. My work pays for my phone,so I don't really care. But,both Rogers and Bell have equally bad reception and same amount of dropped calls.Rogers does have better customer service though.

I'm with Telus. Second time I've been with Telus. Rogers sucks majorly. I had them before. I also have Bell (pay as you go phone) that my hubby uses. Its fairly good. I'm happiest with Telus though I think.

Verizon. We don't have MOST of the choices on the poll...never heard of them. forgot to say contract, paperless billing. I just go to their office and use the machine to pay the bills. Never had a problem.
My "other" is Tracfone, and as soon as I can afford to switch, I'm dropping them, because they suck! Damn prepaid service. I'm switching to Virgin Mobile when I get the chance, because they have good service here.

Cingular/AT&T for me. I've been with just about everybody over the last 9 years and the coverage and QoS I get with Cingular/AT&T in the Austin area has been the best by far.
Verizon here. They do a very good job coverage wise and the customer service is pretty good, too. When I have had a problem, they have corrected it to my satisfaction.
Brad. '08 Vibe on order as of 7-9-07. Finally delivered 10-9-07. Frosty, 5 speed. 35% tint, Pontiac exhaust tip, Pontiac all weather mats, Scan Gauge, clear bra.
Verizon......great coverage and get a discount because I'm a state employee.Used to have T-Mobile and they sucked coverage wise. T-Mobile did have friendly/helpful customer service though.
