I did some searching but did not really get what I was looking for. Who has changedupgraded their clutches. I have 90K and it is starting to slip a little. I want to upgrade to stage 1.What is the best bang for the buck for the whole clutch kit???Thanks.

I am glad you asked. I have an ACT street clutch and xtreme pressure plate. In addition, I had the flywheel turned. $500 to purchase the system, and $400 to install it.I am happy, and as to date I have to be careful to not spin the wheels during take offs. Also, when in motion and I stomp the gas (not often though) I burn a little rubber. The system was install in early April 2007.

So your flywheel was good to go, no need to replace? Is there a break in period? Did you replace because yours was slipping or just because you wanted to upgrade? Thanks

My flywheel had a groove in it that needed to be turned out. I changed the clutch and pressure plate because it started slipping a little bit during hard takeoffs up hill, and hard take offs going into a turn. Other than that the OE was fine.
