Questions about the stock sub that comes with the upgraded radio

I do not own a vibe yet so bear with me please :-)some questions:1) If I get the upgraded system (7-speaker monsoon) is the sub in the back cargo area?2) do you loose cargo space by having the sub in the side?3) is the sub powered or is the amp somewhere in line before the sub? Chrysler used to have "powered speakers" where the amp was attached to the speaker.4) if the sub is only connected to 2 speaker leads (the amp is elsewhere) are those two leads powerful enough to run a 10" Rockford in a box?Thanks for any info.Will

Will,1) I donno, i don't own my Vibe yet either...lol2) If it's in the back, only a slight amount behind the wheel well, it shouldn't stick out into th cargo area (My grandmas Vibe, the one i'm getting, doesn't have the sub)3) I donno...4) Most likely not... it's designed for the sub, prolly 100w at best... Much depends on what you want to do... if a factory system is good enough for you then stick with that, if not, an arftermarket CD unit should be a consideration... it WILL make the factory speakers sound better...
