Hi there, I'm Julie from western NY and the proud owner of a 2005 Pontiac Vibe (moon n tunes package), it's the Neptune Blue color and i've affectionately named my car the Blue Blur...mostly because another blue blur (NY state trooper) had nailed me going 55 in a 40....oopsies. These cars have quite some get up and go to them! Too bad the statie didn't believe it.
2005 Base vibe, duotone pacakge, Neptune Blue, have added XM Radio, iPod plug in thingy, and cross bars for luggage rack...nothin too fancyschmancy.

WELCOME I am glad you think the car has get up and go... Most of us want more get up and go.... me included in that... You will find just about anything you need here from friendly people to information you just couldn't live without.you may also want to check outmatrixowners.com as the Toyota Matrix is the sister to the Vibe. Same powertrain just different sheet metal.

Welcome to GenVibe, Julie! The Vibe is a peppy little car.Sounds like you need to get a radar detector (or slow down. haha)You do have the best color, btw.

Thanks BlueCrush...I'll get a picture of the Blur up pretty soon...have to take one. Another thing I want to add to my car is Buffalo Sabres plates (NY has them).I just love my car...I'm amazed at how much stuff I can get into it! I also participate in Civil War re-enacting, so I can get a weekend's worth of civilian camping gear in it, along with me, and my friend wearing our dresses and hoops!

Welcome,I;m a michigan transplant from Buffalo. Lived there for 15-16yrs... Nice to see the girlies showing up to the board, it's always nice to have a femails perspective around (well, as least "I" don't mind..hehe) It's funny you mentioned the speeding ticket, cause in the time i spent in Buffalo, i racked up like 10-13 speeding tickets, luckly the way the state is run, you can plee, not guilty, and they drop'em down to parking tickets.... so, in actuality i have well over 100 PARKING tickets, and helped pay for a crapload of road construction....LoL... I believe your going to LOVE it here, many good peeps running round... Cheers,Aaron
