Made it though a hail storm

When I was working today we got a massive thunderstorm pop up. I was just a little rain at first, but 5 mins later the rain started to come down in buckets, and hail started to come down. It was about golf ball size. I tried to find some place to pull over, but I was on a country road so could not find a gas station till about 4 miles up the road. When i pull over i checked the car. I was relived i did not see any dents. I looked over the car after all the rain passed every thing looks ok. I was glad the car held up and didn't get bad damage from it all

WoW man, you got lucky... Golf ball size hail no less, biggest i've seen was marble sized... Good thing it wasn't followed by a tornader....!

I though there was going to be a tornado with conditions where almost perfect for one

You want to drive as slow as possible in hail, the faster you go the more speed you hit it with, thus more damage.
