Rim warrenty

I have a 2005 vibe w/ the 5/100,000 mile warrenty. My rims are starting to rust (bubbling/blistering) are the rims covered under warrenty?Thanks

I believe they are only covered by the 3 year warranty. The 5 year is for the power train only.

Covered to some degree.I can speak for aluminum rims only; some get replaced, others get refinished. GM usually goes the route of refinishing them first. My guess would be the dealers body shop would sand them and shoot them again with paint.

I went off ant bought the new tire/wheel warranty that they offer now. Tires and wheels get replaced if damaged or otherwise.
