I hope you are making him (your son) pay for it....my sister had a few accidents with our ford explorer and I don't think she ever learned her lesson cause my parents would always just pay for it to be fixed.

It's an OEM replacement, so it should be fine.

If it wasn't punched by GM I'm guessing it will be a less than perfect fit. Its possible to find used, already painted fenders in your color for only a little more. try searching your area here. http://car-part.com/ You will still have the expense of painting. Good luck and let us know what you deceide.

Yes my son is paying for it. I am doing most of the work myself though. The frame area were the fender bolts up is tweaked a little so I will take it in to get that taken care of. I think it needs to be put on a frame straightening or aligning machine of sort. Anybody have an idea how much it would cost to get a fender painted? Thanks for the replies folks and BTW that silver Vibe with the hood scoops and side vents is awesome looking. I am a huge fan of hood scoops. I wish I had the cash to do my Vibe up like that.RegardsMike

Thanks for that link. I have been having a heck of a time calling around on the phone for local yards. None of them have what I need. Yes indeed I will look for a used fender first. Would love it if I could just bolt on everything I need. RegardsMike

Yeah those psychovibe fenders are pretty sweet looking but I heard they are a pain and really hard to install.
