New Alpine Radio installation and factory amp compatibility

I just purchased an Alpine 9883 head unit. http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...-9883 I have a 2004 Vibe GT w/ moon and tunes so I have a factory amp. I plan to have it installed at Best Buy. Will they be able to connect my new head unit to my factory amp? Will they bypass the amp altogether? Will the amp even make a difference anymore with this head unit? Would I be better off purchasing an Alpine amp? I don't know that much about car audio so thanks for all your help.

Nevermind...Had it installed this afternoon and it connected to the factory amp with zero problems. WOW...what an improvement. First of all, the whole overall sound quality is better, but I can not believe I ever used an FM modulator...that thing is going in the trash (well maybe on ebay) I'm very pleased with my new set up and couldn't be happier.

Now you just have to replace the el cheapo stock door speakers and you will really be happy Congrats on the new deck.
