I'm going to see RUSH at the Va. Beach Amphitheater tonight. I can't wait. The weather is going to be perfect. I'll be sporting my new Genvibe t-shirt that I'm picking up from O2csnow this evening! Gotta love it!

Lifelong fan, but probably won't see them this time around (playing in August in Houston and outdoors = HOT).Am lovin' Snakes and Arrows...think it their best stuff since Test for Echo.On a side note...can you remember when you heard your first Rush song?
This is an outdoor concert also. I have lawn seats, which means sitting in the grass. it should be pretty cool. Temps in the lower 80's with low humidity. Almost unheard of this close to the ocean this time of year.I can't remember when I heard it, but it was "Working Man" and I've been a fan ever since.

A buddy had just set up his stereo in his dorm room and had me come over an listen to "The Camera Eye". I'll never forget it...I was dumbfounded.

Hmmm.... first Rush song...I'm thinking around 1976 or so, I became a HUGE Rush fan, we even waited out back of the London Gardens in December 1977 for them to show up.I've got pictures somewhere of Neil Peart driving up in his Bronco and getting out, and Alex and Geddy with a bunch of wrapped Christmas presents.I was in T.O. one day around '77 hitting the music stores, and I remember seeing a stack of amps and beatup road cases with "Alex Lifeson" stenciled on the sides. Then I got into punk and it was all downhill from there.

They never disappoint. I swear they're every bit as good as when they first started recording. In my opinion, they're the best band ever.

I'm glad you had a good time. I'm looking forward to next Saturday, I haven't seen them play since 2004. I've been playing Snakes & Arrows at loud volumes all week. My kids think I'm nuts and the wife just rolls her eyes.
