2 years ago today...

Post by tangerine »

So today is the 2 year mark from the accident that changed my life forever. Since then I have had 9+ surgeries on my back, arm andinternal organs, been unable to work and been in therapy this entire time. I have finally stopped pissing blood (it started up again), got the abdominal pains to cease(sp?), but my back has not gotten any better still. Can't do any walking over 2 blocks, no standing, and no lifting more than 15lbs. Shows how fast your life can change in a matter of seconds...

Wow, but you are still breathing which is a plus. What happened if you don't mind sharing.

those pics hurt me and make my ol fusion Vibe cry at the sight. but at least your still alive. I know with what you went through, its really no comfort to hear us say "It could be worse." but it could have been and your still with us.

Yea, looking back at my injuries I'm still amazed at how well the vibe protected me in that crash. Everyone on scene said I should not have walked away.

Ouch. My buddy about 5 years ago was driving an oil truck and hit a patch of ice slid right into a Buick with 4 people in it. Killed 2 of them. He never went to jail though, it was a no fault and after the court hearings he was put on probation. Now he owns his own oil service and I def. think he has a new outlook on life.

It has been a long hard two years for you. You know we are all pulling for you and hoping you will continue to get better. Keep up the fight Did the other guy/company ever own up to their responsibility, or are you still fighting that too?

oh damn man that is really bad. sorry you're still havin so much discomfort with day to day things. i always wondered what happened whenever i'd see your signature, and now i know. it's a good thing you're still with us tho. i've been in a couple accidents involving the front end of my cars(not the vibe) and the side of someone elses, so i know how quick stuff can happen and change. jus try to keep ya head up man, and you'll be ok btw you spelled "cease" correctly
