I have an '05 AWD Vibe and I'm wanting to get it lowered about 2 inches. I had the Hotchkis' springs ordered but Brad at neverenoughauto called and told me today that they are discontinued. Are there any other springs that I can use? I've been reading that the rear would be lower than the front with other springs but by how much? To the point where it will look stupid or hurt the car? Do I have any other options for lowering? I'm new to this so any info is greatly appreciated.

I have not found any other lowering springs that have a high rear spring rate like the hotchkis. AWD/4WDer's that have tried other spring have ended up having the rear 1/2" to 1-1/2" lower than the front. Not cool looking and not safe either. The other option for lowering an AWD would be coilovers, but your looking at $750+ for those. Not worth it IMO.There was a guy selling a new set of Hotchkis on MO for $80 +shipping: http://matrixowners.com/forums....html I am not sure if he still has them or if KeithVibe bought them. Here was another set listed for sale on MO: http://matrixowners.com/forums...chkisAgain, Welcome and good luck!
My Fleet:
'15 Ford Fusion AWD Titanium 2.0 Tutbo
'14 Lincoln MXZ AWD 2.0 Turbo
'14 Nissan Pathfinder AWD SL
'05 Pontiac Vibe AWD
Thanks for the info and the MO leads. Maybe I'll get lucky. I agree, coilovers are not worth it and the 1" difference from front to back is ugly. Thanks again!
