How to Remove Rear Taillamp Lens/Housing 2006 Vibe?

Anyone know the secret to remove the right rear lamp lens unit in a vibe? I have thereplacement part but can't figure out how to remove the damaged lens housing.Here's the part I'm speaking about.

If its setup like the Trix. Pop your trunk/hatch and you will see the side access/storage panels, take those off and you either can reach in from there to loosen the screws or you may have to pull back the whole panel. Which is simple enough with a flathead driver a little finesse and some prying. Typically the taillamps are held on by either a few bolts or screws. My guess is they will be on bolts that are directly connected to the lamp housing and fitted through holes and nutted off. (no pun)

Thanks. I was able to follow your directions yesterday and it was done in 5 minutes. Saved me lots of money I'm sure, not having to use a repair shop for this simple fix.

one of the GM dealers around here charges around $90/Hour with a one hour minumum charge even if the repair would take 30 sec.Always nice to have the satisfaction of Doing it Yourself!!! You wallet sure thanks you!!
