bluebob88 - 2003 Vibe GT

Post by bluebob88 »

I bought my car used from NUMMI in early 2005 and recently started to mod it. I think GenVibe inspired me to mod my car. Anyways here is the link to a website I made for my car.http://67.164.71.238/mycar.phpMore pictures http://67.164.71.238/photos/new/

How does that sound with the speakers facing the back of the rear seat? I have mine facing away b/c that's how the box was built to fit. Otherwise, looks pretty good!

The speakers sound fine, when I first bought the car I had the speakers in a custom camaro box. So I made that box and tried to use the least amount of space. It sounds just as good.

I was just wondering how it sounded since they were jammed up against the back of the rear seats. Mine faces the back so it can deflect off the rear hatch. Just thought it might be muffled or something against the seats like that.

havn't been on in a while, just thought I would update everyone with my vibe. I bought the phycovibe kit and fenders and they should be getting here this week, I havn't decided if I will be painting them myself or getting them sent out. I'm back and NUMMI again, building future vibe members their cars, so theres not much time to do it myself yet. I will take pictures asap and put them on my website and let you guys know when th up.

"0-60 in 8.2 sec" ????that can't be right. can it?I always thought the GT ran "0-60" in around 7.3 or 7.5 sec.

probably. remember, all the power and torque occurs in the higher rpms. 8.2 sec sounds a tad bit slow, but probably close..

you have to be an employee. It was used as a car for people who car pooled to work and couldn't get home. and by the time I got it the clutch was already gone.

Nice. Those rims look good with the red and dark tint.

I just ordered front and rear sway bars and a turbo. I will install the sway bars as soon as I get them and the turbo I will either work on it this weekend or next weekend. I'll let you know how it goes if people are still looking for turbos for their gt.
