Need help with monster icruize

I have the monster icruize with the base HU.It works great till I want to change playlists.I have only 2 playlists on my ipod.So it goes to the second playlist no problem,but after that it does nothing and the HU or icruize seems to lock up because there is no other playlists.Even pressing the playlist changing button does nothing.Do I have to have more than 2 playlists,is there a setting on my ipod.The only way to fix is disconnect the battery.
