CAI of course gives you the cooler air SR is alrightSupercharger intake you already have but without the superchargerElectric intake is a jokeI would go with the CAI

I'd go with a short ram personally, unless you got the money to throw done on a cold air, but if you have limited funds and other plans i'd stick with the short ram.

I am new here but I do know a thing or two about intakes. A cold air intake is great but are short ram intakes with a heatsheild (helps block warm air)
Other than that of the K&N kit who else makes one of these. I am though a little concerned about the CAI as one of the guys I know had one on a Honda when going through a puddle it sucked up some water. Hydro locked his engine and snapped two rods. has anyone else heard of this.
If God didn’t want us to eat meat, why did he make the cow so slow? (Ever eaten a cheetah-burger? Nope. And you never will.)
Hydro-lock is a potential problem, but you would have to drive through a lot of water. Besides k&n, you can find intakes from Cosmo racing, injen, AEM, and a few others.
Cosmo and Injen make a SR. As far as hydro lock, I believe it happened to Nascarxprt. But their is a cure for it. Use a AEM bypass vavle. Pretty much what it does is when the filter down inside the wheel well sucks up water, the bypass vavle takes over so no water gets in the manifold.
Where have you bought them from. I am having one hell of a time finding them even the websites for the companies sometimes do not even list them. I pretty much cannot even find the weather on the internet

I got mine off of ebay but you can go directly to AEM site and get it from there. They come in different sizes so just make sure you get the right one. Here is the link to the ones on ebay-http://search.ebay.com/search/...soo=1
I'm on the website now and they are not listing it on the site. Anything to do with the Vibe is not products listed. Is this maybe a discontinued model?

Never mind found them on ebay first. When you ordered yours did you specify that it was a Vibe or the Matrix. I found the AEM one for a 03 Matrix and I was going to see if it will fit the 05 Vibe

I honestly think the stock intake is clearly the best for a daily driver. All the after market intakes make less power below 3.5k rpm in a GT. You may get 10 hp more at redline but for what the car really needs, it's a poor trade off unless you race.
