New here, I don't own a vibe

Post by trayseelea'sboy »

Hi, I joined this forum to share an interest with my girl friend who owns a vibe she is a new member on here, and she tells me all about this place.I am a pretty active member on s10forum, as I own a lowered and heavily modified Sonoma, and a daily driver S-10. She tells me that she doesn't really know what modifications to do on her vibe, and that she wouldn't be able to them anyway. I would like to help her with any modifications that she would like to try. She also told me that people were asking to see photos of her vibe, yet she didn't want to post them because it was completely stock. So here i will post some pictures of it for her. hahah I hope she doesn't get to mad at me.I can post some pics of my trucks if people are interested.

Don't worry if it's stock. Most people on this site has a stock Vibe.I waited 3.5 years to do my mods.Looks nice,I really like the long key chain. But your probably going to get in trouble, remember to always be on the good side of your woman. Now,let see some pics of your truck.

sweet you guys like pics as much as I do.here is my daily S-104.3 auto, 2" lift in front, 3" in the rear, 31x10.5 tires, homemade bumper, nothing too specialand here is my lowered one, it started off simple, and then I had to tear it down and make it my own3" body drop, suicide doors, custom back half onthe frame, full airride suspension, shaved gas door taillights driprails 3rd brakelight tailgate handle, frenched antenna, soon to get a 350 v8.It has been a project for the past 2 years, and will proly take 2 more to finish. Here are some before pics, and several in progess pics.and in progress after the teardown

welcome to the genvibe addiction trayseelea and her boy. i have a long keychain like that, and to keep it from buggin me when i'm drivin, i hang the other end on the turn signal control. most people on here will say get tinted first, then start moddin away. you can pretty much find anything you wanna know on this site if you search for it . all i've done on mine so far is a k&n short ram intake, replace the headlights, and add some 12s in the hatch. oh yeah i disabled the annoying seatbelt beep for free, link for that is here: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=18678and i added the 2nd 12v outlet in the console for about $$5. link: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=13711and i see a radar detector in there, gofast girls are fun. she and hope (aka AKLGT) will get along great here i had an 85 s-10 with the 2.8 v6 engine. i'll post a pic or 2 if i can find oneEDIT: the best thing she could do for her vibe is get some fog lamp protectors, made by one of our own members. i have a set, but right before i got em, one of my fogs got cracked. here's the link for that too http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=16180

Welcome to the site, nice Vibe and trucks! I used to have an 02 S-10 Xtreme, but traded it in with my wifes Mercedez that was falling apart to get the Vibe I have now. I had just started into the modding thing with the Xtreme, but didn't get very far before I traded it in. I had lots of plans for it, some of which you have accomplished and others planned. Good luck with the Vibe! Here's a thread with some of the pics of my truck if you're interested. I still see it cruising around here every now and again. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=14871

My first new car/truck ever was an S-10. Bought it (leased actually) right after I graduated from college. I leased a black 2000 S-10 4x4 extended cab. I used the 4 wheel drive maybe 4 times the entire couple years I owned it and probably only really needed it once.I loved that truck but then I had my first daughter and no place for a child seat (even with the pseudo-extended cab). Traded it in for a Trailblazer.Mike
