trying to sell factory stuff

Post by meathead333 »

anyyone know a place(other than ebay) where i could try selling my factory deck and speakers? i saw a matrix deck on ebay for like $60 a while back, but no one bid on it. the installation guy said its probably worth around $300-$400(i guess that depends on who wants it). i just like to get rid of it and get some cash for it. anyone here interested? probably not since you all have one.

Is it just the single disc? If it's the six, I might be interested. Anyway, I would say that Ebay is going to be your best bet. You won't make a fortune off of it, but it you're just looking to offload it it should be pretty easy to accomplish.

I dont think the factory deck will work in another car other than yours.the security feature prevents that in case it's stolen

IMHO, keep your stock head unit.If you sold your car and do not want to sell your upgraded sound system, you will be able to put it back. Otherwise you'll have to let the aftermarket HU in hte car or try to purchase another stock HU.
