Climate Control Fan Quit

Post by banzai_beagle »

Woke up the Vibe after a weekend nap and the climate control fan won't work. AC kicks in (can tell by the RPM drop) when you depress that button, but the fan won't work at any setting (even with the AC off).Any ideas? Which fuse might operate that fan? Nothing else seems to be inop.

Welcome to Genvibe. It will probably say HVAC for the fuse you want. Usually the fan resistor goes and you're left with high speed only.

the fan gets power from the 40A HTR (Heater) fuse in the under dash fuse block. It also goes through a Heater relay, which is in a junction block above the glove compartment.
