I am already hearing some squealing noise on the rear part of my brake system and with this I really need to replace some parts of it. On my other car, they replaced the saturn brake pad and saturn brake rotor of it. But right now, I still do not know if I am experiencing the same problem as before, like only replacing some parts of it or will I replace the whole braking system of my car. Maybe you guys can give me some informations about this matter.
Do you have a GT or base Vibe? How many miles? It's unlikely for the rear brakes to wear out before the front ones in any case. OH, Welcome to Genvibe.
It's a base vibe. It's not a brand new car when I bought it, and the owner of the car before said its in good condition though. Your right that the front brakes usually is the first one to wear out than the rear.. I'm still checking on it though and waiting for my friend to go to my place to also check it (he is much better in troubleshooting cars, haha)By the way thanks for welcoming me here..
Brake noise IS a problem with some Vibe's. I had it on my 1st one, the '03. I solved it by replacing the pads with ceramic GM Durastop's. IMHO, YMMV, ect.
