Hopefully the problem was just that the engine wasn't warmed up yet. One problem that has been experienced in the 2ZZ engine is talked about in http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1993if it is a real problem, let us know what the final cause and remedy were.

yeah, like Joatmon said, if the engineengine isn't warm enough, it just will just not engage into lift. Sometimes it will kinda feel like you're hitting just an early rev limiter or something.

i was warmed up i just got off an 11 hour day at work there was just no lift the back 8 values never came on kinda of scared to drive it right not don't want to hurt the engine, It only has 25k on it so i don't want to crack open the valve cover, don't want to void the warranty

I helped my son's friend replace that bolt on a 2ZZ Celica. He did it as a preventative measure. $10 bucks and one hour work.

Ok spend all week and alot of searching but i found a cheap car, got kinda of lucky. I found a 1990 Plymonth Lasar Turbo, I drove it for about an hour ran fine, when headed home the belt broke and had to be towed to the shop, the changed the blet and looked over the car and said everything was good, Is there anything i need to know about a car with a factory turbo?i know i need to check the oil alot but other then thatI am going to put the Vibe in the shop on monday hope the fix it fast
