PT Cruiser Owner with comments about Vibe

Post by rjj2ndpt31 »

Yes I own a PT Cruiser, and I love it and will keep it for a long time.I just want to make a few comments about the Pontiac Vibe.My sister recently purchased a new Pontiac Vibe. She let me drive it and I must say I am impressed with the car.It handles very good and the power is just enough to give it some pep.I also like the utility aspect of the vehicle, which is one of the reasons that I bought a PT Cruiser other then the style of course .While I will not buy one I can see why the Pontiac Vibe has a faithful following just like the PT Cruiser does. The great thing about the PT Cruiser and the Pontiac Vibe is that people either love it or they hate it,which makes the vehicles stand out in the crowd and not just be a bland box with wheels. I hope everyone one does not mind me posting here,I just wanted to put my 2 cents in and hope to post here more often, even if my sister owns the Vibe and I own the Cruiser Richard II

Thanks for the post! A girl I work with has a black P.T. that a few of us go out to lunch in quite a bit. It is a neat vehicle. I really would like to go and take one of their turbos for a spin.

We'll never turn anyone away who has something good to say about the Vibe. I seriously considered a PT when I bought my Vibe (wanted one before that too just couldn't afford it then). The only thing that got in my way was the dealership. They wouldn't give me enough for my other car. I looked at a lot of other cars too, but the Vibe, the P5 and the PT stuck out from the crowd. I think the PT has it's lock on the market and has for some time. The turbo version has solidified it. Thanks for the post, it's always good to hear opinions from the "other" drivers.

Thanks for the kind words I know what you mean about the dealerships.I had to fight tooth and nail just to get a half way decent deal on my Cruiser.I can't imagine trying to buy one when they first came out, they marked up the price on the cruiser by at least 3 or 4 thousand dollars more.I really am impressed with the Pontiac Vibe too and think its a great machine.I also like the new Mini Cooper but its a bit small for my tastes.Once again thank you Richard II
