hasn't the v-manage been out for a long time? and wouldn't we have to run an e-manage along with it?

ok im new to alot of this ecu stuff, i was gonna just go with PFC and be done, but i hear its not odbII compliant, meaning i wouldnt pass inspection unless i put my old ecu inthen theres this, it does the one thing i really wanna fix and thats the lift, 6800 rps really kills my acceleration cause im loosing 20hp for half my gears. but is that all vmanage does? would i need something else to control all the other details, im reading that emanage ultimate would, but i really dont know.ive got my first autocross race this sunday, if it goes good and i have craploads of fun im gonna try to take it serious, and i have no idea what im alowed to do to my cars ecu to stay in my group. and i really wouldnt know what to touch once i get the new ecu and their programs.
