toy k975 dash kit

Just curious if the American iternational Toy k975 dash kit will fit in a 2005 vibe. I know it will fit in the Matrix. I want to get one for my brother. Just want to make sure there is no soubtle differences between the vibe & matrix mounting wise. Thanks.

Should be exactly the same for both models. You shouldn't have a problem.

It doesn't fit! American International has separate part #'s for the Matrix and Vibe.2005 Matrix = TOY-K9752005 VIBE = GM-K420, GM-K422, and GM-420DS http://www.americaninternation...ID=19http://www.americaninternation...ID=20http://www.americaninternation...ID=21The TOY-K975 is too wide for the the radio trim piece (bezel).

haha sorry I thought you were talking about a dash kit as in overlays... not a head-unit adapter anyway... still seems strange that it's different since the stock head-units are the same for the Trix If you want to get him one for his Vibe why not just buy the GM-K420 kit?

They were only the same for the 03/04 Trix. In 05, Toyota changed their HU.
