my son came home the other day and he says, I had a problem in Home Economics. he is 14. I thought home ec? what problems can there be with food and cooking? In class they were to write down the words on the board and give definitions. steve did it and was talking, and the teacher says, STEVEN, give me the definition of " poaching" he said without pause, "that would be the catching and killing of wild animals illegally." the teacher looked at him and asked what that had to do with what we are studying. and he said he wanted to lighten the mood. then told her the correct answer for "poaching"I asked him what he learn from the episode and he says, I learned my home ec teacher doesn't have a sense of humor. I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt. kids ya gotta love them.
