Grill pieces falling out on the road

Post by navydave »

Couldnt believe it. while driving down the road at lunch the lower small grill piece next to the fog light on the drivers side, fell out. Had to go back and pick it up off the road and pop it back in. Checked the other side it was a little loose too. You all better check your lower grill pop out pieces before they fall out. What quality, lol!! NOT!@!

A few days after I bought my Vibe (used) I noticed my lower left (drivers) piece was missing. I was going back to the dealer for some other stuff so I asked them about it and they stuck another one in there. Anyway, the other day I was taking the front bumper off and made a funny discovery. The piece that I thought was long lost, I found sitting on part of the wheel well I've had my Vibe almost a year so no telling how long it's just been sitting there. lolSo if anyone's falls out I have a spare. It's not messed up, just dusty

Also, if anyone ever removes them for any reason, when they get reinstalled you have to really be conscious to make sure those lower ones are properly secured. As scherry2 said, they only snap in, but if not snapped in properly, will easily become road debris...

I had the same thing happen to me recently. Now I have a large hole where the balck insert is supposed to be, right next to the fog lamp. Are there any aftermarkets that are worthy of purchasing? Does the dealership offer these parts at a reasonable price? Can you help a brother out please!

thats why i like my 04 grill/bumper, no little pieces. 05+ vibes need the billet grille inserts http://www.mrgrille.com/MrGril....htmlThey are cheaper on ebay than that their main site, just make sure if you order them to get the real ones and not lame fake knock offs.
