Hi AllI just installled a JVC KD-SX990 on my 2003 vibe with the moon and tune package. Thanks to the tips on the board i was able to install it perfectly. The Remote line was correctly connected to the amplifier. However, everytime i turn off the radio, change a FM station anything that turns off the sound. I heard a really loud awful click from the speaker. I have no clue what is happening. I have the remote wire and I used the line outputs from the amplifier.Any inputs to this problem would be appreciated. Thanks for the helpLakda
OK, I have a completely different question.... but I didn't want to start a thread on it.... so I found an old one that was on the same topic. Are the 03 & 04 Amps the same as the 05+ ? I was thinking about finding a sub from the junkyard from a M&T 05+., but don't know if I can just "plug it in" to my amp. I like the idea of it being tucked away so I don't loose any room. And I don't need a "Big Boom" sub, just something to add some depth to my sound. We talked about it, and looked at the Orlando meet, but couldn't tell. The Amps look the same, and so does the wiring... any insight?
I think you may have to submit your question as a new thread . I bumped into your question by accident. Actually, I am going to try and do the same thing your are. I picked up a sub woofer unit from an 06 Vibe and I need to know how I would wire it into my M&T system. Thanks!
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=21304Try here, Joat answered my question on it. It should be possible, but you might have to do some trial and error.... if you decide it's to much work... are you willing to sell the sub?
