Accessory Switch Blank Removal?

Post by Vibetastic »

HelloAnyone know how to pop out the rectangular blank that fits on the left side of the dash next to the coin holder? I'd like to put a switch there.

The easiest way is to just grab the coin holder and pull it straight back to remove it, then reach in from there and pop out one of the blanks.

That's the easy part. The hard part is cutting the blank to hold a switch.

Hey! It worked. While sitting in traffic this morning, I pulled out the change holder and was able to remove the blank. Thanks!I've considered installing a small push switch for another horn I want to install. I'm not sure how to get the wiring from the switch to the engine compartment without drilling a hole.

There arn'y many ways. I think most go through where the wiring harness goes in. No matter what you are going to have to cut somewhere, the vibe is sealed up pretty tight.
