Hey everyone. I've been coming to this site for almost a year and I have had my Vibe for just about a year as well. I wanted to introduce myself and my Vibe offically here. I installed it in the lift over the spare tire. I had to remove the spare tire cover but it looks and sounds sweet. I also had to build a box that would fit around the back of the sub and still allow the lift to close over the spare.
I would drop it but I live in Colorado where the snow doesn't agree so well with dropped cars. I might do a body kit but I am adding a ram air hood with short ram air intake, that should make it look real sick, also adding osme performance.
i live in AK. we get lots of snow here. I dropped mine about a 1.5" and Mavrik's (hubby) dropped his 2" on S-techs. absolutely no problems getting stuck (unless driven directly into a snow bank, but not due to the ground clearance ).
Yeah snow....euw. I live in MN and this last winter was the first one with my drop (2 inches i think on hotchkis springs) I dont have snow tires but I got around good. If I had the money Id forsure get snow tires, the vibe is just isnt heavy My v6 taurus and sables never had a issue in the snow, but the vibe is a little different driving through the powder.
I've been doing alot of interior work lately, thought I would show it. Plus today I'm upgrading the sound system and changing out some speakers will post pics on that later. thanks for the welcome
