As many of you know Bird Poop is the biggest if not one of the most deadly enemy to a cars finish. How do you guys protect your finishes against this dilemma?? I know not all Carnuba waxes do NOT do much.....especially with the darker colored finishes,....... as the Bird Droppings within 10-20 Minutes along with help from Mr.SUN will permanently Etch in to the clear coat and deeper!......With Summer coming around I think the tips here would be welcomed by all!
Hose it off as quickly as possible and keep a GOOD coat of wax(especially on the uppers of the vehicle where the poop usually hits)!

That's what I always carry and rag and this in the driver side, rear compartment:It makes short work of bird droppings. Of course, having the car waxed helps.
I agree. The best defense agains this that I've found was maintaining a good coat of wax on the car and cleaning off the after-effects of the kamikaze attacks ASAP. Same is true for splattered bugs on the front end of the car. If you keep a good coat of wax on the car, these things wash off much easier.

buying a plastic owl and putting it near where you place you're car helps. The owl will scare and keep the birds away.Make sure you get the one that shoots laser beams from its eyes, though. Birds really hate that.
