215!! I can't believe it either. I don't know why it was so dogish. Maybe it's weight - dunno. All I know is that I would be pissed if I just spent all that $ for such a slug.I wonder if my friend test drove one before signing? I used to be in the car business and I thought I taught my friends better than that.Where did I go wrong!?

The turbo PT GT manual is about 200-lbs heavier than a Vibe GT. However, it should be slightly quicker than the Vibe GT due to the larger engine (2.4L) with greater torque and HP.

Sorry - I guess I'm a little sensitive. This forum is quite a bit less cordial than I'm used to. Some of these guys really seem rude. Let the worst get the better of me - my apologies all.

From what I recall, the auto PT turbo is a about the same 1/4 mile times as the VibeGT, but I'm sure the 5spd will kick our (removed). I do know that the Neon is a lot quicker, but remember the PT is 200 lbs more than us and we are heavier than a Neon I would think. I know driving in one, it didn't seem like they had much to them.

quote:215!! I can't believe it either. I don't know why it was so dogish. Maybe it's weight - dunno.Perhaps it was because the GT has all top end power and the PT has much more low end. You being use to the way the GT feels could give the feeling the PT Turbo was slower than it really was. Once you hit that lift, the GT really seems to fly......
